11 is made up of four portraits in the same position with the gaze directed straight to the spectator. A chain of pictures are leading the public to look at them as a process that a person may undergo, where the base motif was picked from the previous project* Venezian*(The Venetian girl from the artist Frank Duveneck, 1880), because of some sort of inability to move from the picture yet.

The physical form is used as an ´echo´ of something slowly dissolving, fading and transeding into something different and new. Looking more closely, the artist used different colors just on the last, fourth painting, defining non – identical type of form and gaze. She was also playing with intentionally made cracks on handmade prepared canvases that she herself was preparing for weeks before working on them.

The title 11 was chosen after fihishing the paintings, inspired by the traditional numerology and the association to the words initiation, awareness, connection to higher power. In tarot, the number is connected to the card Force(eng. Strength), which represents mastering raw emotions in order to bring calm to oneself or a situation.

Since April 2022, as a celebration gift and payment, 11 was given to be in private collection of Dottoressa Rita Petrolini , the therapist specialised in Gestalt-Analytical Psychoterapy that the artist started to meet weekly from the time the series has been painted until this year.
