This collection of diptychs visually explores the concept of intimacy between two entities. The works originated from a personal practice of emotionally resonant image “hoarding,” a method the artist uses for solace and. The initial intent was to create “soulmate” pairings, replicating chosen images in the style of fresco. 

A compelling, unbidden process then took over: the individual paintings began to influence each other’s composition and meaning. Through this unplanned assimilation of gestures and narratives, the works evolved into complementary pieces that exchange energy.
